Total LOL is a work that brings together two contrasting types of content in one space: video clips from propaganda-driven TV news and humorous, absurd, or meme-based videos from the internet. By using random, generative editing to cut and splice these clips, new and unexpected meanings emerge from the juxtaposition of serious political rhetoric and the playful, often nonsensical nature of internet memes.
